McHenry County Animal Control & Adoption Center serves the people and pets of McHenry County. We promote responsible pet ownership and animal safety through services like humane education, low cost microchip and rabies vaccine clinics, and connections with community partners for other services. We help reunite owners and lost pets, and have an adoption center where we adopt out pets that are unable to be reunited with an owner.

Tiny N Tall Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non for profit organization comprised of volunteers dedicated to providing temporary shelter, veterinary care and behavioral support for small and giant breed dogs as they transition into carefully selected homes. We rescue Tiny breeds under 25 pounds and Giant breeds. Our rescue is all foster based and we rely solely on donations. We provide medical care, shelter, a full belly and lots of LOVE to Tiny and Giant breed dogs. We have a great team of foster homes and volunteers that make this possible. Tiny N Tall Rescue, Inc. was established in 2017 by Melissa Young and Niccalina Santilli, who both grew up with tiny dogs and now as adults both own Great Danes . After recognizing the need for a rescue dedicated to the tinies and talls of the canine world, the rest was history! They dedicate their time to providing medical care, shelter, a full belly and lots of LOVE to tiny and giant breed dogs until they find their furever homes.

HHH is primarily a neonatal special needs rescue specializing in birth defects such as cleft palates, murmurs, and other deformities. We take in the puppies, provide around the clock care and all needed medical . I hated the idea of a puppy being euthanized because no one would take the time or money needed to try and save him.

We are Wayne County's Humane Society and animal control. We are staffed by 2 full-time employees and a part-time employee. We also have volunteers that walk animals and socialize cats. We care for the animals because we are a rural area and there are a lot of strays and unwanted animals. We do our jobs because we want a better life for these animals. We want to place them in loving forever homes.
