We are a county run shelter that strives for no kill. We try to keep the shelter population down and provide rehoming options instead of in shelter owner surrenders. We are advocated for spay/neuter. We provide wellness checks on animals in our county and assist with families in need of pet food. Our staff are all animal lovers that want to see our dogs get into a home and out of the shelter. We do everything we can to ensure that their stay with us is a good experience and provide excellent medical care for each animal.

We are a 501c3 organization with a mission to rescue, restore and rehome companion animals, primarily cats. We have a passion for animals and strive to be a voice for them. We are also involved in TNR to address overpopulation.

Our purpose is to improve the well-being of cats and their caretakers by way of: - Rescuing cats from situations that are dangerous to themselves or their caretakers - Providing temporary foster homes and medical attention to the cats in our care - Finding quality permanent families for adoptable cats - Providing TNR services for community cats who cannot be adopted, including ensuring these community cats have a designated caretaker

We are a small group of volunteers who see a need for change. Dogs are suffering due to overpopulation, neglect, abuse and homelessness. We know when like minded individuals come together with a mission, big things can happen! We believe every dog entering into our foster care program deserves the best chance to thrive and find their place within this world. Indian Summers Border Collie Rescue is a Support Program for the Ohio American Indian Council, Inc. founded in Ohio in 1982, a non profit for charity org. Dr. Victoria Summers, a 50 veteran of rescue, is the co-founder and executive director of Indian Summers Border Collie Rescue, a 30 dog fully operative rescue faculty on sight and A Place of Hope Sr. Dog and Hospice care shelter. The purpose of the Organization is to address the suffering and overpopulation of cats by practicing Trap, Neuter, Return, adoptions, and providing education and resources

We are a small , foster home based rescue. Our volunteers call themselves "The Village" because of our tagline "It Takes A Village". Everyone works together to get our work done, transporting, trapping, working with the community, to help the cats and kittens that need us. Over the past year, we have an ever growing trap, neuter, return program, and take in many of the kittens from feral mothers, and work with other TNR programs to help them place theirs as well. We also work with other rescues when needed.

We are a nonprofit, all-volunteer animal shelter. We are a voice for the voiceless animals.

FosterBabyCats was born out of the desire to provide the greatest level of care for cats and kittens needing a forever home. Frustrated with partnering with shelters who turn away kittens to drive higher survival rate numbers or make questionable care decisions based on a cost benefit analysis, we wanted to be better. Unconstrained by the traditional shelter business model, we believe every life is worth saving. At FosterBabyCats, every cat and kitten receives the individual care and attention required for them to thrive. Our mission is to turn neglected or unwanted cats and kittens into healthy, thriving, members of a household through extraordinary care, constant attention day and night, and proper placement into households befitting of their individual personalities. Traditional shelters reject kittens that do not have a strong chance of survival (newborn orphans, kittens with congenital defects, or kittens showing signs of trauma) so that their programs can seem more successful to the public. While we may not be able to save every kitten, we can help them leave the world warm, with a full belly, and knowing that they were loved. In addition to helping kittens grow healthy and find forever homes, we work with the community to spay and neuter stray and feral cats. We want to help end the cycle of homeless kittens.
