We are a family run, local, foster based dog rescue located in Cedarburg, WI. We help homeless shelter dogs from southern states by transporting them to WI and placing them in foster and finding loving forever homes for them. We also help homeless local dogs find loving, forever home. We promote responsible pet ownership through education.

Northwoods Animal Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the well-being of animals in Northern Wisconsin. Our mission is to provide shelter, care, and advocacy for animals in need, and to work towards reducing animal cruelty and neglect in our community. We believe that every animal deserves a loving home, and we work tirelessly to provide medical care, nutrition, and rehabilitation to animals in our care until they find their forever homes. We hope to ease the burden on area shelters with spay/neuter programs to avoid unwanted litters, microchipping to get animals back home as quickly as possible, and providing assistance to pet owners to keep animals with their loving families. We are a volunteer team of dedicated animal lovers with years of experience in animal care and welfare. We work closely with volunteers, local businesses, and partner organizations to provide the best possible care for local animals in need. Our long-term vision is a world where all animals are treated with kindness and compassion, and our work is driven by our commitment to making this vision a reality.

Our mission is: Since 1969, our mission has been to prevent cruelty, abuse, neglect, and overpopulation of companion animals while seeking adoption of these animals into compatible homes, and teaching humane awareness and respect for all life, thus helping to build a better community. We are contracted by Portage County to provide Humane Officer services and intake and care for all domestic animals. We have five humane officers. We provide education to schools on dog safety and other pet related topics.

Founded in 2021, Almost Home Cat Rescue MKE is unlike most rescues in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. We are a cage-free/free roam facility that allows visitors to interact with our adoptable kitties prior to adopting. Our mission is to create a safe haven for all cats in our care until their forever home is found; as well as to be a resource to the community, for its cats, and the people who love them.

We are a foster based rescue. We help all breeds, medical, and last minute. THH helps local and southern dogs. We help not only rescue dogs but offer community support to keep dogs in homes

My name is Lynne Runge, I’m the founder/director at Saving Grace. Saving Grace is a (501c3) nonprofit foster-based animal rescue focusing on saving lives of animals in overcrowded kill shelters. To provide loving homes & will be accepting owner surrenders. We do not have breed discrimination when it comes to saving. Our priority will be pregnant/nursing moms, orphan puppies & seniors. Saving Grace is a foster based rescue in Southwest Wisconsin. Our founders fostered through other organizations for years and when they moved to the area they realized how great of a need there was for animal welfare services. Our surrounding counties are only able to take in a limited number of cats/kittens so they turn the majority of intakes away. We also partner with farms that have overpopulations of farm cats. We provide access to spay/neuter services and rehome all adoptable cats to help get the overpopulated farms under control.

We are a hodgepodge group of rescuers with myriad backgrounds and decades of experience in working with other rescues. SSAR was formed when its founders saw a need for more clear and open communication and an adoption process that involved conversations instead of check boxes. We are friendly, communicative and EXTREMELY passionate about excellent matches between families and family friends.
